South Surrey Osteopathy promotes the health of the body, mind and spirit. We focus on educating our patient's so they have a better idea of how their body works, why they may have aches and pain and to understand the benefits of preventative and restorative health care. We look for the cause of the problem instead of treating symptoms. We do this by taking the time to listen to each patient's story and then our hands palpate and assess how the body is moving to determine which part of the body is at fault. We then use manual techniques and the appropriate approach to restore proper movement. We influence muscles, joints, nerves, connective tissue, circulation and internal organs. We then educate the patient with a personalized exercise program to help with the recovery as well and prevent re-injury.
